(1) Bring the reading window to a target barcode and press the trigger switch.
The marker beam comes on, indicating the scan range.
The illumination LEDs light and the scanner reads the target barcode.
(This operation is not required for the Continuous reading mode, Auto sensing mode and the Auto stand
mode.)
(2) Adjust the center mark of the marker beam to the center of the Barcode.
(3) If the Barcode is read, the beeper sounds, and the LED indicator lights up in blue.
Precautions when reading
・The standard of the Reading distance is about 3.9 inches (10 cm).
・Make the Barcode label as flat as possible when it is distorted.
・The scanner may not read labels under direct sunshine or in extremely bright places.
・The scanner can read codes bi-directionally.
・Take out the labels when it covered with plastic films.
・To read the same Barcode again after it has been correctly read in the Continuous reading mode,
move the scanner’s reading window a sufficient distance away from the Barcode for approximately
1 second. Resume the reading after the LED indicator turns OFF.
Reading mode
Regular read mode This mode transfers the code data when the scanner has read the barcode
successfully.
